ChrisSD: Are you maybe using 1.0 installers? I have, for example:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GOG.com]
"DefaultPackPath"="C:\GOG Games\"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GOG.com\GOGBOUT]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GOG.com\GOGDOSBOX]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GOG.com\GOGPACKBOUT]

...And much more.
Do you mean the older 1.0 installers left crap behind? Maybe that's the case. On this new laptop I've only recently installed a bunch of GOG games, and I think they all had recent 2.x.x installers.

Then again, I see one of your entries is for DOSBox, and I've yet to install a GOG DOS game on this. They are all GOG Windows games so far.

Most, if not all, GOGs install entries to that location (or the equivalent 32-bit location if you're on a 64-bit system).

The GOG launcher (regardless of DOSbox or not) and their DOSBox config tools uses that information to know what game to launch/config.

Check HKLM\SOFTWARE\wow64node\... (I think)

Oh right, it goes to a different place in 64bit Windows... (\HKML\Software}Wow6423Node\GOG.com\...). I don't know why the registry search didn't find that place when I looked for "gog", maybe the search is context sensitive.

So, don't the GOG uninstallers remove the entries from that place? I am not against GOG making registry entries, as long as they are removed completely in uninstallation.

They remove all entries except the "DefaultPackPath" which tells installers where the user prefers to install GOG games to. I don't see anything wrong with this or adding one or two other options. Personally I'd prefer they use a separate file for this rather than the registry. but that doesn't matter so much to me.
