mudlord: This is not to any major system, but I have a issue with this:
With me being a emulator developer (worked on N64 emulation, and doing my own GBC/GB/GBA emulator), how will this system work? You will prebundle emulators (ick) or encourage people to pick thier own? (yay) Also, with the emulators prebundled, with some of them being freeware, how will you compensate the emulator developers if its not under the GPL?
I dunno, it doesn't sit right with me people profiting off stuff thats released for free :/ Especially emulators, where coders do invest a lot of time and love into, and they might not see a cent or even donations.

You are a piece of work.
Oh no, GOG is using the one emulator they like best! How dare they make sure all their games run well on one emulator! If I were them, I'd make all the games run half assed on multiple emulators!
*Gasp* I can't believe we are supposed to buy products that companies created and sold for entire decades! Why can't we pay the people that stole the code and released it on the internet so everybody could pirate it? These thieves should be rewarded for bad behavior!

1. SNES
That's my only opinion. Personally, I'd rather not see N64 games on gog. I've tried playing them with a mouse and keyboard (and with a PS2 controller), and it never works very well. The controller was just too unique.
1. Arcade
2. SNES
3. NeoGeo
There's just some arcade games like Bloodstorm which were just great guilty pleasures which I'd love to relive...
Sega Dreamcast
C-64 ...because of all the great SSI games for it! Tons of early wargames [Typhoon of Steel - which got more graphical to become Steel Panthers on the PC!] and AD&D games [Pool of Radiance, many others that I have forgotten]
1. Amiga
2. C=64
3. Don't mind. Vectrex? :)
Top Three:
1) Commodore 64 (I agree - for all the SSI Dungeon & Dragon games!)
2) Super Nintendo
3) Nintendo 64

If I have to pick from that list...
1. DREAMCAST
2. NINTENDO 64
3. SUPER NES
These 3 systems have the most fun games with the most REPLAY VALUE of those in your list... Here are my notes:
1. The dreamcast had versions of the first four Resident Evil games (including Code Veronica, and it had some great fighting games.
2. The Nin 64 had great shooters like goldeneye and it's own version of quake 1&2 and Hexen, and many other fun games.
3. SNES speaks for itself. there are so many fun games that i can't even count. pilotwings was a personal favorite. the first Madden football game for SNES was amazing at the time. The mario games and the zelda games were nothing but great. i also loved f-zero.
BUT... if I could make the list bigger, i would pick 1. Playstation and 2. Sega Saturn and 3. NINTENDO GAME CUBE.

You know, I really have to agree with that. however, i never really got into the 64's controller anyway. it was unique, in a bad way. (unique, meaning "one of a kind," in an absolute and literal way. )
however, there are actually NIN64 controllers on the market that you can plug into a PC via USB. There are also USB adaptors that let you plug your original controllers into a hug that becomes USB.
So, basically, if you want to use the OG controller, there are plenty of options and you should have no problem!!

1. Amiga
2. Dreamcast
3. NeoGeo
Amiga because I havent played much of this stuff, but constantly hear how awesome certain versions of games were on the Amiga. Dreamcast because I want to double click on Powerstone and Rival Schools and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure whenever I want. NeoGeo because Last Blade 2 and Garou: MOTW need to have access immediately. Only through GOG.com because they respect the releases, and these consoles deserve it.
1. Commodore 64
2. Super Nintendo
3. Nintendo 64
1. Amiga
2. Commodore 64
Those are my only options. The console games are too easy to find and run on emulators while Amiga and C64 have a lot of classic, good games that are really hard to come by. Besides Amiga games graphics are awesome.
1. Sega Dreamcast
