I just noticed my ping is around 100 to 200 and on a Uk server in the main list, it was 300+. :(

People of GOG, hear my call!
Our shiny new TF2 server, GOM - Unofficial Official GOG.com TF2 server has just launched (or better said I finished uploading the maps and making the configs). You can find it at 89.238.160.183:27015
The server, based in the UK, accommodates 24 players and runs on a semi-vanilla configuration: this means default respawn times, all talk, custom maps alongside the originals and Rock the Vote. We also have a fast map download server in place so if you run into a map you haven't played before it shouldn't take long to get on the server.
You can use the [GoG] tag if you so wish in order to show the world that Good Old Games thrives from new games as well and that we are a force to be reckoned with! The admins will sport the tag [GoG-CO] and will be chosen at a later date. Take note, if you use the community officer tag you will be forced to change it by the server; we maintain a list of allowed members.
The server is not free and all donations towards it are welcomed; it costs �13 per month and it will be paid from our pockets. Fortunately we already have a pledge for �4 a month. We will be setting up a PayPal account for donations shortly.
This is all. Go, thrive and have fun!

We'll try to add a server in the US in the future if everything goes well as well as implementing HLStatsX for stats tracking.
Players in Australia and other regions may have some lag issues but at this point we can't really do anything about it unfortunately.
