I like how simple it looks. I recently completed Lands of Lore, and it really surprised and pleased me by being a very simple game in many ways, but also very enjoyable due to genuinely interesting level design and a lot of cool content. The result was very addictive and enjoyable.
(I'm actually convinced that if Lands of Lore had been released today, hardcore RPG-fans would have called it dumbed down and oversimplified for the masses, but since it came out in the early nineties it's considered a classic instead)
Anyway, it looks like this game is headed in the same direction, and I can't wait to see how it turns out. It does help that the screens are awesome and really atmospheric. I hope they have a good sound man too.
