DieRuhe: I think one can read too much into it and maybe find issue with it, but that's my take.

StingingVelvet: Yeah, also it's a translation, so who knows. I was mainly just opening it up for discussion.

I have great interest in seeing how they portray him in the game, however.
Yeah, that should be interesting. Can't wait to sink my teeth into it.

Apropos of nothing, I miss the "workout" feature from San Andreas. I always though Niko's belly was a little too large.

I liked it because there was a direct connection between gameplay and player physicality (fat guys took more shots, skinny guys ran fast and muscular guys punched hard, it was NES Ice Hockey all over again). I would, however, prefer such a system to be implemented without the need for maintenence. For instance, if you want to be fat you have to gorge yourself, but not have a continual need to do so in order to stay fat if you decide you want to ride a bicycle for a while. Likewise with muscularity, once you hit the threshold you should just stay there until you decide to eat or work on the treadmill. I realize it's more unrealistic, but I think it would streamline the process for player's who want to maintain a given physical stature while retaining the satisfaction of reaching that state, because you still have to work at it in some way.

I apologize for the poor sentence structure but I wanted to get that thought out in a hurry, as I have to leave like right now.

It looks very cool and got me excited, but then I read this thread and discovered it's console only. :-/
Looks great, but I can't even run GTA 4 :(

Really?
I remember it with GTA IV, but wasn'T aware rest of them was too.
I got all of them quite a long time after release so I didn't know.

I agree; having it "maintain" would be better, with some options for "quick change" - ie, if you were fat and wanted to get rid of it, go sit in a sauna! Or go eat and have a "pig out" option to just go overboard all at once, or have an "extreme workout" or something - then once you get where you want, it stays there until you consciously decide to change it.

Every Rockstar game since GTA3 releases on consoles first and eventually comes to PC later. Well, except for Max Payne 3, because it was kind of a PC franchise I guess they decided to be nice.

They're very mass-market oriented, I assume that has a lot to do with it.

The Red Dead games have never been ported to PC, sadly.
I'd gladly trade Max Payne for a Red Dead port. Why that never came to the PC is beyond me. The mod community would have went nuts with that title.

Its because of piracy which every AAA studio is afriad of :(
All cutscenes, no gameplay.
