amok: It is not as much randomness, there is nothing really random in it, it more that the puzzles are based around non-euclidian space, and thereby becomes almost non-logical, which may seem as random... minor point maybe.
Leroux: And does that make it frustrating? Or did you like it precisely because of this? Is it one of those games that are more of an "experience" than a game? And if so, is the experience a good one or just weird?
I found it weird, frustrating and good.
This is probably one of the Marmites of games, I like it a lot, but I know others who thoroughly dislike it because of its strangeness and non-logical puzzles. It is thereby difficult to recommend as your mileage will vary, depending on how you get on with the core premiss of the game. However, I will say that it is very well made, and it is very clever (and at times I found the puzzles funny), but yes also hairpulling frustrating at times. It also at about 2/3 in start to lose a bit momentum, and the puzzles become more and more reliable on the manipulations with the 'gun' and not space.
I would say that it is worth taking a punt on it at this price, it is game everyone should experience just once at least, but be prepared for not getting on with it at all.
