Leroux: Yeah, but what to do if you want to play all four in equal measure? :D
Well, I think among my four favorites, Steed is the one that's been the most vague in terms of gameplay and I'm probably influenced by the art style of the presentation, which might not be the best ground for favoring it over others. Then again, I'll probably be disappointed if in the end I find out that my other picks never had a chance and Steed narrowly loses to games like What Could Go Wrong and Dear Leader that I can't imagine having much fun with (as much as I like Anna Kipnis, sorry ;) ).
As long as they throw in a hind-kick to the balls mini-game would make it instant buy.
I also wondered what kind of gameplay it would use. Most of what I thought it may have didn't sound appealing.
Example: you ride your owner into a battle, ... and you have to follow onscreen prompts (aka: the humans commands to the horse)... just doesn't sound fun.
What if your owner doesn't feed or groom you, can you start acting up in the stable/wherever, and start making loud noises and kicking to get them to feed you?
I just dont see you having much freedom of choice because horses in that role are broken to obey commands.
Do we choose to drink water from the river we are lead too? Do we choose where to strategically place our poo to get humans to step in it? :D lol
Unless the horse turns into batman when everyone is asleep and we can preform some parkour through town, and kill unsuspecting villans in the pale moon light... will I really be hot for the game.
All we can do is wait and see.
ps. the reminds me of that flash game, where you are a weaponshop/smithy and follow adventures on quests, making thier weapons for them, instad of playing as the adventurers.
edit: I remembered its name,
Jacksmith over on kongregate.
