It would be the single most amazing thing in the history of everything in the world if GOG put Dungeon Keeper on here. Pretty Please?

I finally broke down and bought a copy. I did get a bit of a "deal" on it and only ended up spending $35 on it, rather than the even more obscene prices that people get.

So, we should be good to go as soon as Mr. Gog announces whoever the big developer is. Which I thought they were supposed to have announced already.

I thought they said "summer"

Which could mean any time between now and August.

Possibly, I remember them insinuating that it would be announced, then they just announced a series of Atari releases with a strong hint at who the publisher was.

Hehe I bought it at a steal for only $15, or $30 plus shipping. Where did you buy it from?

what was the hint? I remember them saying there would be 26 games from the publisher. which really makes me think it's EA.

The only two hints were:

It's one of the following:

Microsoft, EA, Lucasarts, Take2, Blizzard, Zenimax

and that they had over 20 games.

As far as I recall.

Or Square Enix / Eidos - which it most likely is

oh ok. then it's EA. can't be blizzard or take2. not enough games. can't be zenimax. not enough games. can't be microsoft or lucasarts. not enough games.

EA is the only publisher in that list that could feasibly field over 20 games(and I bet there won't be many sports titles either)

I'm not sure if I'd rather have dungeon keeper and command and conquer now.. or get startopia. tomb raider, final fantasy, hitman etc.

O' Leary Enterprises. I've never heard of them, but I paid using a method that's insured. Right now, they're the only ones that actually have a copy for sale for something that resembles a reasonable price. The other ones were either $80 and up or didn't actually have any.

This was my second try to buy a copy, and this time they actually shipped it. The other time I tried to buy a copy they cancelled the order because they didn't have any copies left, the site still indicated that they had one.

At least they've managed to ship me something, which is more than I can say for previous attempts.

Just torrent / warez it if you can't find it. If its out of print, it is out of print. Period. :p

I'd rather have done that, but it's still of questionable legality in the US. And uploading would definitely put it squarely in the realm of illegal around here.

I got lucky. I got one out of eBay. These things turn up more regularly than I'd expected. I chanced upon it because I was bored and decided to run a search for "dungeon keeper". The best part of the auction was that no one actually bidded for it lol.

I refuse to have anything to do with eBay and only deal with PayPal when I have to. But in this case even if I was willing to deal with eBay I haven't seen any copies there when I've been looking.
