Skeleton0117: I can't.
1. I have Vista which runs practically nothing.
2. My computer is too new to run it.
3. I have shit Vista.

Vista barely runs emulators let alone actual computer games. You should have seen the bumblefuck I had to go through just to play Spore.
Replace "Vista" with "my computer" - Vista runs perfectly fine unless your PC has hardware with terrible drivers. I'm a big big retro gamer and every single emulator I tried works fine. In fact, when Vista was released, BEFORE all their patches and improvements, I did a test with over a 100 Win9X and Windows XP games and only 3 or so failed to run. 4 years later, that number went down to ... none. Sure, there's some games but there's nearly always fixes. Most of the time, it's the copy protection that can't handle the 64 bit environment but a crack usually solves this.

Brand new and running Vista? That's weird. It's definitely not Vista, though. If it doesn't work properly, you did something wrong, or the people building the PC did. The difference between Windows 7 and Vista isn't that big at all.

Hmm, I can almost run anything on Vista, what games are you having problems running?

I agree, I luckily downloaded the demo off of Steam. It's not a terrible game, i just found myself a bit bored after a few moments.

No your computer is at least 2 years old OEM's were using windows7 within seconds of it being released and offered free upgrades to people who bought computers within 6 months of its release. Since SP1 Vista has been able to run pretty much anything and run it well.

How much RAM does your computer have? whats it's processor?
Like, ok, I will dowload DK again and attempt to mount it ect and post results.
I try to mount it and it says "This version of this file is not compatable with the version of Windows you are running." What now?

Skeleton0117: How do I do this?

KavazovAngel: If you have an old copy of XP / 98 / 2000 / whatever, make an image of the disc, you can use ImgBurn for that.

Then just download and install VMware Player (which is free), and make a virtual machine and mount the image to install the older OS.
Would an ISO of 98 work cause I found one of those
