Please count me in for Thomas Was Alone and Trine 2 on Steam. Happy Birthday! +1
Happy birthday.
I feel that gaming as medium is growing with audience. In many cases it tries to be more than test for reflex and succeeds in doing so.

As for giveaway, I am in for:
Batman™: Arkham City GOTY
I guess I'm the same... depth of story matters little to me now. Oftentimes it seems like a distraction from the game. Hate it when games take themselves too seriously, except when it leads to unintentional hilarity. Then I'm all for it. ;D

I'm in for Civ III and Dungeons of Dredmor. Thanks, Narakir! Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!

Count me in for Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY (Steam) and Batman: Arkham City GOTY (Steam) and +1 for the giveaway!

Story has always mattered to me, to the point that if the story is exceptional I am willing to overlook some not so great controls and gameplay (Silent Hill tank controls, etc.), but of course the best situation is a compelling story and compelling gameplay (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, etc.) but that doesn't happen much lately.
Cool giveaway and happy B-day :) Hope you enjoy it.

I I would like to enter for AA:Goty and limbo :)
Happy birtday Narakir! I love a good story, but gameplay is also important. But it seems that i can ignore gameplay hurdles for a good story like it's the csse with the witcher 2, where I absolutely hate the combat.
Thanks, I'm in for Thomas was alone
Thank you, and happy birthday! I'm in for LIMBO and Mirror's Edge (if it has not a 3rd party DRM).
My opinion about stories in gaming is almost identical to yours: once, I liked a game more for its story than fot the rest, while today I take in higher consideration great gameplay over a good story. There are also games, however, that manages to combine them in clever ways, like Planescape:Torment, where the story IS the gameplay! :)
(I am using Planescape as an example way too many times this days... I feel old! lol)

Edit: I forgot to mention that Steam is my platform of choice.

Happy Birthday Narakir! And thank you and +1 for the giveaway.

I'm in for Mirror's Edge (Steam] and Mirror's Edge (Origin) in order of preference.
Happy birthday. Not in but +1 for you.

Narakir: Begin 28 is nothing special for me, just feeling a little more away from the enthusiasm and sense of discovery that brought me into gaming. That doesn't say I do not enjoy them, but I've come to enjoy them differently focusing more on gameplay than stories, even if 2013 had been a good year for story focused games. Did it happened to you as well ?

But enough existential questions. I think it'll be good if I gave away a few extra keys I have from here and there and this one is fully packed with games I consider as great or fantastic, so more people can enjoy them as I did. They're either on steam or origins.

Rules are simple, have at least ONE STAR rep and PICK TWO games and state which platform you'll prefer (I know, Origin isn't that good but that's where I have the keys). Winner are going to be decided using random.org on next Friday.
