phanboy4: There are legal reasons that make it almost impossible for US companies to offer worldwide giveaways, which is why almost no US companies ever do it. It's not because they only care about US readership.

That's why digital only giveaways are worldwide, isnt it?

I've never run a giveaway so I don't know the particulars, I just know there are special sweepstakes laws in the US (they may even cover digital giveaways) and other jurisdictions have their own versions.
