I think the "complete" was just on sale--either their winter sale or not long before--for like $10.

If you can wait, I'd recommend waiting until it gets to that level.

Even then, be aware that the expansions for 1 and 2 are NOT included (so "complete" is definitely misleading). Some would argue that the exclusion of the expansions make 1 & 2 useless. I know that kept me from buying it at the sale price.

I would JUMP on that but I am biased toward the series and I payed only slightly less than that for just San Andreas. GTA 1 and 2 might actually still be freeware (Rockstar started giving them away a few years ago) but thats not the reason to get the set. #3, VC, SA, and #4 are in my opinion worth way more than $50 which is what I saw it on Steam for. Of course, if you've never played them and don't know what they are like then it may be a waste of money for you. Just the ability to spend hours playing "crazy taxi" and or selling drugs out of an ice cream truck makes $50 chump change for that set...in my opinion.

If you are a Diablo II veteran then I would say you will most probably hate the third one and find the two first average. IMHO definitely not worth 45$, if it was ten or less maybe... if only to play Lazarus.

But I didn't like Dungeon siege 1 very much. The game was pretty much autoplaying for me (on normal), they even cast spells automatically.

Odd, I usually read they're horrible. There is no general knowledge with opinion, really, outside of true classics.

At this point, probably not at that price. I got mine copy from some other deal (steam key) and really only got it for DSIII (bargain at the price i bought it for). DS1/2 is party rpg and yes now that i remember DS1 had a automated stuff. DS3 is pretty much single pc player char which maybe more your forte since your a d2 player . Not sure about the missing expansions from DS1/2 in this bundle - not sure what they add.
Horrible in terms of base inventory and you can certain amount of automation of the party. Better games than DS3 however imho. Whats your definition of true classics?

Any "Diablo" fan should stay away from "Dungeon Siege"
Diablo is a clicking rush where as Dungeon Siege is more exploring and character development

Any "Dungeon Crawler" fan should get both of the series. You can spend hours and hours fighting killing and collecting.

All DS games are completely different games. They share 2 things, 1 is their name, 2nd is their genre (a.k.a. Dungeon Crawler) The first DS gives you mostly linear but huge dungeons to explore it has a relaxed environment where you can pause the game and think about what you can do. Second DS has more clicking and action and rush but it still is not diablo. The third is as many has said nothing special in it. Play something else worthwhile.

I would say, find the older games for a much cheaper price, and forget about DS3.

The older games don't seem to be available digital wise anywhere else separately.

In all media types I think there are entries so universally acclaimed that they are objectively good. That doesn't mean everyone likes them, as tastes differ, but no one should call them bad. In movies it would be stuff like The Godfather or Citizen Kane, for example.

In games... I would say Deus Ex qualifies. Super Mario World and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Games like that.
