I bought Alan Wake from Steam yesterday as it was on their "Midweek Madness" sale, and to my utter surprise I found today that Alan Wake and the excellent Zeus have appeared on GOG. Had I known Alan Wake was coming to GOG I would have purchased it here rather than on Steam.
I normally look at GOG at least once a week but cannot remember the website giving any advanced notice for these releases, did I miss something?
The choice of what games get released on GOG seems totally random, but I feel if they are going to start offering new games and competing with the likes of Steam, Impulse and Gamersgate, but offering the game a couple of months after initial release they need to ensure they tell us what games they are going to do that with as I have enough "to be played" games to wait a bit if I KNOW GOG is going to get them, but if they don't give a clue then they are going to keep losing sales.
