kalmis666: Good luck for them! Will need to skip this myself since haven't even gotten around playing the first game yet.
Don't worry about time, it will take until about the December of 2015 before they are done with making the sequel. They are just gathering the funds to make sure that they get there.

I just read through the stretch goals ...they mainly do this not for fame or money, but for curry. I find this inspiring :D

Huh?.
Don't see the problem. You need a GOG account to redeem GOG keys too y'know.
I will buy it for sure when (or if) it will be released, I really enjoyed the first chapter.

mistermumbles: Despite me using Lemeza as my avatar, I have yet to seriously give the first a go - I just happen to like his Indiana Jones likeness a lot. ;) Maybe after my current run through Geneforge 2 I'll give it a real try.

I wish them success with their Kickstarter. This may very well be one of those rare projects I'm actually tempted to back; haven't done so since the Wasteland 2 & Shadowrun Returns KSeses. I'm quite liking these absurd stretch goals, and I think more project should have these:

$200,256 : Curry Party

The whole La-Mulana 2 team will sit together and have a curry party live on Twitch.TV. Curry is the soul of La-Mulana, and curry will be the soul of our team.

$200,768 : Curry Hell

La-Mulana 2 director Takumi Naramura will eat curry three times a day for three days. Enduring this spicy hell will make him stronger, allowing him the ability to make an even better game!

LOL!!! It will endure his ability to expel "curry fire" from the butt too :P
Please, GOG! Get this one!! :OO I totally loved La Mulana and I would like to get the sequel here too.

This is the kind of game I won´t wait once it´s released, I will surely get it and play the hell out of it on release date. In fact, it may be my first kickstarter... (although I was tempted with Mighty Nº9, Armikrog and the last Shantae).

One of the best Metroidvania games out there for sure, and I love that kind of games.
Interesting. As a KS celebration they decided to have a quick 90% off sale on Steam for La Mulana for a day.

That's a great deal. I think it was 80% off already during the xmas sale, which is when I got it.

Still really curious about what exactly is confusing you there...

My guess is that he means the required Playism account is against the idea of DRM-free, in which case he also shouldn't consider GOG as DRM-free. Either that or he's confused by the fact that Playism is required to get the Steam version?

Hmm, I hadn't considered that it might mean you need a Playism account to get the Steam key. I assumed it just meant that Playism were the ones giving you the key. I mean, they are the ones running the Kickstarter, localising and publishing the game...

Things are looking well for Eg-Lana, as Nigoro have accumulated $141,000 as of today. Good times for mulanites. :)
