Finally. This will be the first Kickstarter game I've backed that gets released, I can't wait for the download to be finally activated.

I did play some of the old Larry games on my Atari st and found the copy protection annoying as there was age related questions but based on American law and i live in the UK. When played they where fun for adventures.

Luckily there's a cheat around those questions ;)
The questions will also be in the new version, and personally I think it just wouldn't feel the same with out them.

And the game is now live from Replays site DRM free. Steam release will be later, 10AM.

ugh.. dilemma... do I get it from Replay or do I get it from GOG or Steam...

Any restrictions on redownloading etc direct from Replay? Anyone know?

You get the steam key and DRM free download from Replays site through backers portal. You need to register there with the e-mail you used to pledge. I didn't have any issues registering my Steam key and I am DL:n the DRM free version as I type this.

Did you create an account on replaygamesinc.com? If so, log in and go to My Orders -> Digital Orders. If you haven't created an account yet, you should have received an email with the subject "Your Kickstarter link" from Replay Games sometime in June 2012. That email should contain the necessary info.

Cool, I'm not big on kickstarting but since it's out I'll buy it and give it a bash.

Did they confirm whether it was coming to gog?

People were asking for it, but at least for the launch it'll be just in Steam and through Replays own site. But as the DRM free version exists (win, MAC, Linux), I wouldn't be surprised if it's released here as well soonish.

Mine too, unless you count Xenonauts. The game got in Steam Early Access, but it's still in development. I could already play the current build if I wanted to though. I also got Carmageddon 1 for backing Carmageddon: Reincarnation but obviously that's just a bonus game, and doesn't have anything to do (besides the name and core mechanics) with Reincarnation.

Still waiting for the rest of the games I've backed. There should be a couple more coming later this year (Wasteland 2, Dead State and Carmageddon: Reincarnation)

edit: oh it's possible to already download this. Nice. Saving the Steam key for later but downloading the DRM-free version as we speak!

I will buy this. But I'd prefer GOG more than anything else :)
