What good things have happened for you lately?
I just basically got a Netbook (older laptop, looks new however) for 60$ :P good deal I say. I also just realized that Descent 1 and 2 were bundled for 6$

Good stuff that's happened to me lately?
Got a deal on a everything to do a full brake job on my car, including stainless steel lines. It'll be track ready again soon. :)
My Mom called me and wants to make dinner for me next week for my birthday, so that's another good thing that happened today. :)

-The soundtrack to a TV show I did music for has been nominated for a major national media award
-One of my favourite musicians heard some of my songs, enjoyed them, and offered some honest and useful advice

Not necessarily "good" in that sense (nor "bad" though) but I enjoyed Blizzcon that I watched online (still am watching the Ozzy concert, but that will soon end).
Damn it, it's twenty to six in the morning here - I think I got to bed by this time yesterday, at least it's sunday, so I can sleep all day.
Actually, I think it IS a nice surprise after all, I never paid much attention to Ozzy before but this gave me yet an artist to put on the list of albums to get.

Lets see...
Younger brother got mauled by the dog for breaking her leg.
Found the flash version of Portal and beat it without cheats.
Shot my brother dead on Halo. He complains that I beat him too much, but I just know his play style.
Learned how to modify pics using Photo Pos Pro.
That's about it.

Never thought I'D be posting in an optimism thread but I reckon I'm in with a damn good chance at this job I've got an interview for next week. Submitting the application and getting an interview call on the same day has GOT to be a good sign

IT Manager at the local cancer care centre, reckon I've got an edge because my mother & sister have both been patients there so I'm playing the "want to help those who helped my family" thing

That is great man. Cancer has taken around 8 of my family members and some people close to me so it's good to see someone working for a business fighting that parasite.

-HOMM2 and The Settlers II Gold have been added to the GOG catalogue, with the prospect of HOMM3 and the Might and Magic VI Limited Edition.

You have name day in Hungary? I always thought that it was a Slavic feature (because I know only about Slovakia and Czech rep. having name day). You learn something new every day :)
