This is less optimism and more just straight out good news but I'm going to have around $800 this time next week. I've submitted the first timesheets for my casual uni marking job and it looks like I'm going to clear about $400 and due to doing some stupid volunteer-at-gunpoint style work for the unemployment agency, I built up working credits that means I can earn up to $1000 before it gets taken out of my unemployment money so I get to keep the full pay from the job and the full unemployment pay.
I'm buying me a PS3

Good stuff though, whats your degree in?

Quarters. Yes, it's a little odd.
Networking Specialist. Concentration on Windows and Active Directory. Might go for Cisco after I get my MCITP(Enterprise Admin).

Yesterday a soundtrack I worked on (I did about a third of it) won the award for "Best Original TV Music" at the Qantas Film & TV Awards :]
