Bargain price hunters, it's THIS time of the week when our already cheap games go even cheaper! Today you can grab the awesome [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/psychonauts]Psychonauts for only $2.49!

Don't know what the game is about? Psychonauts is an action-adventure platform game created by the very creative and not less twisted mind of one of the industry's greats - Tim Schafer. You play as Raz, a young boy with great psychic talent attending a psychic summer camp. Your quest is to solve the mystery of the kidnappings and to do that you'll have to enter the minds of other camp members and battle their nightmares. To this crazy concept add great script and awesome level design and you get a helluva ride!

The game is only $2.49 until Thursday, February 24 at 10 a.m. EDT.
Dam I thought it ended at 10 PM not 10 AM. An alert email would be nice to get and the cut off time at 10 PM. Working 12 hour days makes it had to get these offers.

Anyone still have a gift code they are willing to share?
I skip checking GOG for one day, and miss something as awesome as this :(

Had it in my wishlist for ages. Oh well, next holiday sale perhaps.
Although it's not one of my top wanted, I did want to take advantage of this promo... unfortunately I missed it...
Maybe next time...

In the meantime, I hope next promos are for the games I'm most interested in ^_^

Thanks GOG!!!
Heh, seems like a lot of GOG followers are deep in the red...

If that's not the case and you've got just a little money to spare and Psychonauts is something you really really want to play, c'mon, don't be so cheap. I can relate to people not wanting to spend like 20-50$ or something for a random game but this one is worth a lot more than 10$ so what if you missed the promo. I admit I won my copy but I when I realized how awesome the game is and how many hours of fun you can have with it, I felt so bad about getting it for free that I had to donate copies to some friends afterwards, even before the promo. :D
So... is there going to be another one of these today?
Yeah, I thought it said something about there being another one. I assumed I'd imagined it or remembered it from a previous flash promo post. Oh well, I hope they don't do it on thursday instead because I'm going away for a couple of days.
I mentioned in the first flash promo that we'd be running 'em for the month of February and then analyzing the results to see if it seemed like they were worth keeping as a regular thing.

There's no reason why someone would have seen that, particularly, so apologies for any disappointment you may be feeling. But, look—a chance to win a free game, instead!

I am disappointed. Not due to the flash promos possibly being discontinued in general, but due to the fact that I have already promised to buy someone this weeks promo (see http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/so_its_that_time_again/post1) as a prize for a contest.
My mistake, right? I should have made sure that there was a promo this week, right? I did. As late as this Monday (the time of me posting that contest), the write-up for this Psychonauts-promo said to check back next week for a new promo.

Now, I am a man of my words - or at the very least I try to be - so even though I can't provide the promised prize, I feel obliged to provide the winner with a different prize - a game of their choosing.

So yes, I am rather disappointed.

The one day promo's are definitely worth keeping as they fill in the Gap between Tuesday and Thursday and give more reasons for people to keep visiting the site and buy games

Steam has "Midweek madness" so I don't see any reason why you guys can't do the same

No worries though, todays news update is pretty cool, looking forward to the one day promo wednsday next week :)
By all means keep the midweek promo's but a little longer next time. One day is very short notice.

correct me if I'm wrong but...

Isn't having them for one day the whole point of those promo's?

When a 10 dollar game is 75% off I think they have a good reason to keep it for one day

Psychonauts went to be the top seller after the last week promo

You cited Steam's Midweek Madness, there is a reason that has proven popular. It keeps people checking beyond the usual weekend sales.

Oh... if it actually said it in this news post that there would be one the following week, I think you (or rather GOG) should honour your promise (or at least help Zchinque out)...

maybe, however I would understand if you made this argument back in 2008 when gog.com had quite a small catalogue and actually promo's on titles from interplay

right now though...the catalogue has grown considerably huge, over 300 games, so I think gog.com can actually do it :)
