Are you ready to clash with the devil's army? Show us how fast you can pull the trigger. Start a new game in Painkiller and play the first level in the first chapter on Nightmare difficulty (or above). After you complete it, go into the level selection screen and take a screenshot that sums up your game (like the one attached to this post) and send it to users@gog.com. The idea is to complete the level without using Black Tarot cards. We have a free game each for the two fastest GOG.com users. The contest ends on Thursday, April 16 at 11:59 p.m. EDT and the winners will be announced in this thread on Saturday, April 18, with the community update news.
You have to own the game on GOG.com to enter the contest.
Update: Congratulations, Kyorisu and Jager, for winning the contest! :)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you must finish the level WITHOUT using Tarot cards, so your record probably doesn`t count.
Anything below 5:50 is nigh impossible without relying on cards.

You start an entirely new game, deleting past scores and your collected tarot cards. I wasn't using any cards because I had zero gold and no cards. Only the first and second levels are available, the rest are locked.

I didn`t mean to insult you. After I tried to beat your record again today, I finished just a little below 5 minutes.
But 4:29 - dang, you are one mean bunny-hopping, spawn-camping painkiller.:)

I'm expecting someone to beat that time. If I were smart I wouldn't have posted it, now they've got a target.

Yeah, because.. it's actually.. uh.. REALLY easy to shop this. In ~30 seconds I did a 'passable' shop. (I almost posted it as a joke ;))

Get yourself a REALLY good score, and keep it secret until the last like.. hour of the contest.

Stupid question: how do i take a screenshot of the menu? F12 isnt working and printscreen + paste into paint isnt showing the popup with the level info correctly for some reason.

That's what I was implying with my previous posts. Blatant cheats would stick out like a sore thumb, but still...
