Kinda pointless, if you ask me. Just bring it to GOG ported to work, and everybody will be happy. Geting HD is nice, but I see no point in going overboard (and cause delays) for such a thing.

He was probably trying to make it seem like he really wanted to get that game...ya know, for the fans.

Overspent = no expenses spared = it's going to look soooo nice

Overspent = should have spent that somewhere else = their priorities were skewed.

If this was PR thing, it's a stupid way to do it because it's ambiguous. Regardless, watch gameplay videos before buying, profit.

I heard this title the other day in relation to another, can someone just say briefly what kind of game this is or what other games it's comparable to??? (that's what I'm trying to remember, what the other game was where several reviewers said it was homeworld clone.

Stuff that would be worthwhile in a re-release:

• Updated textures
• Updated models
• Updated background images (even if they just add some dithering to reduce banding)
• Increased "tick rate" / precision for unit movement
• Increased draw distance

The game already supports high resolutions pretty well :P
(see here for instructions for running the game at high/wide resolutions. If only the UI could be scaled up...)
