Balthier: This is PopCap.com we are talking about, right?
Yes, yes, of course.

When I exit Peggle Nights, I get a screen "Click here for more awesome PopCap games." or something like that. It changes from time to time.
That's weird.

I have Peggle Nights since launch (directly from PopCap) and never had this screen here (I have it full here). I also have several new games from PopCap, like Bejeweled 3, Banana Bugs, and none of those show me ads afte I quit.
Grrrrrr....

I was gifted the game when they were making the "register a PopCap account and you'll be able to gift Peggle Nights to a friend" promo. -- or something like that.

Still, that doesn't change anything, I think.

You got an activation number, right? Since you can use it directly on the Peggle Nights trial (the one you can download from popcap), I can't see how this changes anything.
^ Yes, and I downloaded and tried to activate the game in VM and it was giving me connection errors or something. Will contact support tomorrow to see how it goes.

Thanks for all the replies. :)
I tried the automatic receipt retrival process (and also downloaded two different PN installers, one from the Popcap Pass site, and one regular Trial installer, no success with both), and it came up with an error... Dammit.

DRM 1 - 0 Angel.

Gonna contact support later.

Here's to you, stupid ass DRM.

So the order can't be found in the database. And, I'm not able to register / activate the game, and just spend some activations during an online-which-does-not-work activation process, that just eats up activations.

Funny though, no where in the game were buttons labeled as what their page said, you would think that they'll update the site to reflect things available for different games (in terms or registration), but no.

Long story short, wbb here I come. I'm just going to pirate the game. Should have done that from the start, I guess. I would have been able to play the game in a dozen minutes, and not like this, several days messing with the fucked up drm system they have.

EDIT: Who would have thought... Pirated version = one click install. Legal version = messing around and getting fucked up by the drm screen, having activation problems and what else not.

EDIT2: Popcap are dead to me unless they go DRM-free.
