A DRM-free, AAA, new title on GOG.com? Yes! We decided to promote this highly-anticipated RPG by our sister company CD Projekt RED as a one time special.

We just couldn't resist the opportunity to offer you the best pre-order offer for The Witcher 2 you'll find in the world. First of all, you don't have to pay upfront for the pre-order. Pre-order The Wicher 2 on GOG.com now and pay for it at the release. If you make the pre-order on GOG.com you'll get loads of free bonuses: instant access to some exclusive bonus content from The Witcher 2, a 10% discount, a free copy of one of five classic RPG's from GOG.com and much more. Check out the full pre-order offer and make your pre-order for The Witcher 2 [url=http://gog.com/en/page/tw2_preorder/]here.
Uhm...

Well. There we go.

Assuming this isn't another "monks", how will this work if we want a physical copy of whatever the special edition is? Lots of shiny stuff in those for TWEE.

Error 404?
404 on the link
WTF.

Awesome.
I see only the cold vacuum of space.

Clearly, this is GOG making a deliberate statement.

So, uh....if you don't have to pay upfront for the pre-order, what happens to the free bonuses (particularly the free game) if you cancel the preorder afterwards?

Seriously? DRM-free? Man, don't be messing with us like this.

If you're serious, I'll order two copies.
The GOG bear mascot amuses me so much. :P I do get a 404 when attempting to click on the provided link like everyone else, and frazzled bear face makes me pretty happy. :P

I was going to preorder it from Steam if it became available since I'm more for digital since it's easier but if GOG is going to put their newest product up here I'll grab it, especially for the goodies. I'm torn just cause it's a brand new game coming to a site that's supposed to be for old games, but I guess I can't complain since it is GOG's choice in the end since it is their site...

EDIT: Someone didn't close their tagging on bolding something in their post, since my whole post shows as bolded. :S

Pleeeease! Put that pre-order page up!
Jesus Christ. the Collector's Edition is 130 bucks...

Somehow, I am thinking I can live with digital this time. So that answers my question :p
wut
Will this be downloadable through GOG or CDP? Having it on my GOG shelf would be kinda nice.

Also. is the retail version also DRM-free?

This is looking pretty damn fine but right now I'm considering the retail Premium Edition. No art pdf but physical versions of the map, guide and papercraft. But it's a long way to go yet so we'll see.
