The score is only 3-2 in favor of $9.99 for Square releases.
Trilobyte wants to release a new game and their catalog consists of three games. They need that $9.99 price point to fund the company.
Project IGI is in the class of Desert Storm so it will most likely be $5.99.

Phc7006: I expect a 9.99 price tag to become the new normal. To some extent I regret that, especially for games that were once distributed for free as magazine cover disks.
With the catalogue steadily expanding, GOG should consider a change in price policy. IOne could imagine that after quite a time, games priced at 9.99 would see their price reduced to 5.99. or one could imagine a new entry point, with an entry point above 10, in order to attract newer games as well.
They've already done that for some games. Both Serious Sam games for example started at $9.99 and were reduced to $5.99.With the catalogue steadily expanding, GOG should consider a change in price policy.
