It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Gydion: If it's certificate related then it's likely Windows itself.
I suspected it could be cert related due to the timing. Unlike folks on that thread i'm not getting any message complaining about the cert or detailing what's going on, just a continuous ding, ding, ding.

Could you do me a favor??

COuld you come back here on IE 11, and click on that link?

I'm getting the same Exclamation when I click on that link and go into that thread.

Yep, i'm getting it too. It's just not that link though, it seems to be every link on the boards pointing to another GOG page.
Yep, I was just trying that too.

It seems a link to a thread doesn't, but a link to a specific page does. Is that what you got?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just found a couple to a specific post and didn't get the sounds this time.

Weird little bug, might be hard to track down.

I'm assuming you have some options on that disable any popups and instead plays the problem sound.

That's because I linked to the secure version of that post: https://secure.gog.com/forum/general/security_alert_keeps_poping_up_on_this_site_is_anyone_else_getting_this/post12 vs. http://www.gog.com/forum/general/security_alert_keeps_poping_up_on_this_site_is_anyone_else_getting_this/post12.

Can one of you try closing IE, run the commands I posted and see if you still have the problem? They should be sufficient, but this will wipe the whole cache if needed:
certutil -urlcache * delete

Yeah, some links that don't specify a page do it too. I also found a couple of links that don't trigger the dings though. It's a mess.

IE's popup blocker is disabled if that's what you mean.

certutil -urlcache * delete didn't do it, still dinging away.

OK, thanks. Actually, I am able to reproduce it on this machine, that command didn't help and it does appear to be certificate related.

Thanks for trying to fix it, let's hope support can figure it out.

<F12> Developer Tools Console: For every bing is a corresponding error: SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x800c0019, Security certificate required to access this resource is invalid.

Think I'll try a complete restart.

Still dinging away after rebooting.

Yes, the same. I found the problem: https://servant-1.gog.com/ is still using the old, revoked cert (s/n: 04:F1:E9:7C:6B:F3:A5:D8:87:0E:CE:5E:53:C5:34:F6 ). Looks like GOG missed a server.

AHA, you found it, well done ;)

I'll update my ticket to support with a link to your post.
