morciu: Slight warning if you are thinking of getting SR2 on steam, the port is horrible, like seriously one of the worst I've ever seen. I haven't tried it with my 360 controller yet but on keyboard it's unplayable, when driving most of your turns will be 90 degrees turns. There is a patch for that but that isn't too good either, the driving is slightly improved (still not good) and it makes all the cars handle exactly the same.
In a game where driving is one of the main mechanics it was a pretty ass move to not port it properly.
AFnord: That's mostly due to the fact that the game runs on turbo speed. Someone who made the game got the bright idea to link the game's speed to your processor speed. So faster processor->faster game. There is a fix for it, but it is fiddly. In a game where driving is one of the main mechanics it was a pretty ass move to not port it properly.
Still, I enjoyed SR 2 more than SR3, for pretty much the same reasons as SpooferJahk mentioned.
