Congrats, coxdr! I must have gone over HW a dozen times, and it never clicked (My best guess was Half-Life, but it failed some of the criteria). Just goes to show how long it's been...

I had never played the game either. I was stumped until he posted cold but no ice and something about ice particles. I then thought space. I looked at the list of games on metacritic and looked at each space game before 2000. It was the only real match.

Wow, it all seems so obvious now! Cold as frakk in space, but not much ice, no shadows in space.

This riddle had been the one I´ve prepared for the longest time since the third one (http://www.gog.com/forum/general/radons_solve_this_and_win_3_magica/page1), which was originally be planned to become the first one:
So yes, I put lots of efford in creating it the way, that it will confuse you, but at the same time only using "worthy" clues ;)

Edit: Ooooh, sorry didn't read the (further) above post. I too love a good riddle and I couldn't pass it up, but physics games aren't my cup of tea. I may know someone that would want it though if you still have it.
