I have to admit expected something special for the 500th game on a site that made it's name with Good Old Games. Yes, Larry might be an old game.. but it's a sleazy unfunny, unentertaining franchise.. But as we've pretty much come to expect now from GOG, their old audience is no long their main priority and their big aim now is at the lowest common denominator in order to attract as large numbers as possible, although that's not working.. the audience they want to attract use Steam or another distributer and their older audience just stop using their service because of the marginalization.

So yeah.. big whoop for the 500th release.. pointless and unattractive.

Oh, if you're just about to bound in and say LLL is "insert hyperbole here".. well that probably says more about you than it does me.

Classic game? Check
Unavailable elsewhere? Almost check, seems to have surfaced in some places.
People like it? Again, check for some.people, pass for others, like all games.

So yes, it might not be "System Shock 2", but it is something to write about.

Although I don't like this franchise (really), this pack has the old and classic games from that series, and is a great news for many fans. You should respect that. If you don't like it, don't buy it, simply as that.

I'd have been pretty much happy with anything that doesn't revolve around childish (contradictorily it being for adults) toilet humour and was at least fun for more people than it's very niche market.

And to the earlier replier.. as for being a troll subjectivity or not, ... away you go and look up the meaning f the word. It absolutely amazes me than in this day idiots can still use the word incorrectly.

Personally, I think GOG should have stopped releasing games at 499, then waited until they got the rights to System Shock 2 just so they could make that Release #500.

Pretty much this. I have no past love of LSL, but I was excited to see it here for those reasons and because it was so high on the wishlist.

Sorry to jump in again but before I get chucked for giving him the finger I'd like to point out in my defense that it takes a lot of nerve to cast negative aspersions on the content of one's character based on the video games they play. Also I'd like to know who put him in charge of determining what is "...sleazy unfunny, unentertaining..."? When I was in high school the PMRC tried that with music. I gave them the finger then and I'm giving it to him now.

I'll stop now and go pester someone else in another thread. :)

I was glad GOG released such a big name game series as their 500th game. I felt GOG delivered with this one, after some underwhelming "surpises" before, it was a welcome surprise to see these games added here in my opinion.
