Well now is the time to go mad and thats what i have done i bought Empire Earth 3 just to see how bad it is to 1 & 2.
The promo is a great way to get some classic games empire earth 1 & 2, Evil Genius and the ground control games.
I wanted to treat myself to ONE game because I submitted a paper good and on time... now I bought the whole pack!
I guees that makes me the Journeyman - Buried in Games ;-)
So, let's see when I find the time to play at least one of those...
Glad though about a great discount on great games :-)

Maybe someone can help me out and give me some advice. I'm really bad in fast-paced strategy games with much micromanagement. I prefer a slower gameplay or the option to pause a game to give orders or get an overview.
From the reviews here on GOG i know that Empire Earth 1 and Ground Control 1 are slow-paced RTSs, which sounds interesting to me. In a review of Ground Control 2 from another webpage someone writes he paused the game to watch the lovely looking units. Is this true, can you pause this and can give orders in this mode?
The other games sounds more like genremixed games with a slower gameplay: Lord of Realms is more turn-based with a realtime part, Evil Genius and the Republic more management games. Which of them are because of micromanagement and faster gameplay not so good for me. Which games give you enough time to think and are easy to control (no fast hotkey combinations or wild mouse movements)?
Thanks for all advices and hints
Well Empire Earth certainly is alot slower paced RTS in terms of build up, I find the combat you need to be fairly quick at clicking. The AI is not great and unless you attack with overwhelming numbers you need to micro your units to attack the correct unit they are most effective against. Otherwise they seem to do whatever they want.

Thanks for your advice. If there are just a a few situations when the game becomes really fast-paced, it's also ok for me.
Btw, I found a hotkey-list for Ground Control 2. There is a pause function. Very good.
Own almost half of these. Don't know if I really need the rest, but nice sale none-the-less.
A nice and impressive deal which shows GOG flexing its muscles in an almost Steam-like fashion. Thumbs up for all Goliath-esque sales like this one!
Thinking I'm buying all of em.
I picked up the Lords of the Realm 1&2 pack .. great deal for $4 bucks and a very absorbing game(s).. thanks
I own just enough of these that it now works out cheaper for me to buy all the ones I don't have than just the ones I really want!!
Not sure if that's good or bad! ;)
Hmm, unfortunately I'm not a strategy person, so the only one of those that might interest me is Judge Dredd.... Is that worth $4.20?
now this what i call an offer
So why is it called "Rebelion" Pack?

I wanted 3 games but it ended up being $15.37, so I think it is a pass for me.
