My wallet was unprepared.
Wishlisted for now as have this already. Great wee game though.
I wish they would fix the "no gog post" bug. It's really annoying, and the Machinarium release thread worked fine.

On topic, this is a really interesting game.
Hmm let me think about it, I own it on CD, bought it again with the mac and linux versions on a Humble bundle, maybe I'll pick it up again to be gog friendly next time there is a sale. Pretty cool game.

It is, but given the fact that it was included in the Humble Introversion Bundle, DRM-free, I doubt GOG will sell many copies right now.
Was that rocket added to the game at a later stage ?
(in the GOG.com movie)
In the game page are write Darwinia as Single Player/ Multiplayer, but the Darwinia is a single player game (as said in Wikipedia, ), with Multiwinia being it multiplayer brother, [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiwinia]here...

In the Wikipedia is said that exist a Darwinia + for XBox with both Darwinia and Multiwinia in the same pack...

So what version Gog.com was released?

While I like that they're getting new-ish stuff, I'd like to see something new that wasn't part of the Humble Indie Bundle. FOUR of the six flagship new games were already included in various bundles.

This is just the beginning. I'm hoping for something 'new' too, but it's only a week.

Is the boxed version worth buying? I hear it comes with a keychain and some cool trinkets.

I already have it on Humble Indie Bundle, but maybe I'll buy it here too, along with the retail version.
This is actually more along the lines of "old" games released, than a "new title". I already have it on Steam with the incredible play time of 1 hour. So I will pass this one ...

Hmm, I don't remember seeing it before, and I completed the game after getting it in the Humble Introversion Bundle.

On the other hand, lots of user-made levels exist. It might be from one of them, although I think that would be misleading, to include things in the video not actually in the game as sold.

Then again, maybe the rocket's always been there, and I just don't remember it.

Time to launch Mobygames I guess. I have certainly heard about Darwinia and seen the stickman logos and screenshots years ago, yet I have no idea what kind of game it is, does it resemble any other game etc.
I actually picked this one up when it was on sale as part of the Introversion bundle a couple of years back for something silly like five euros, and then picked it up DRM free with the Humble Introversion Bundle. Personally I couldn't really get into Darwinia (although the C5 Clive-a-like gets me a-giggling every time) but it opens the way to Uplink and Defcon, which are the ones I've played to death.

It's another one that's done the rounds countless times in the past few years, so I wouldn't hope on too much success with it on GOG. In fact, I believe it was the first third-party title for Steam and with it, one of the first major digital distribution titles, if I recall correctly.
