deonast: Hmm let me think about it, I own it on CD, bought it again with the mac and linux versions on a Humble bundle, maybe I'll pick it up again to be gog friendly next time there is a sale. Pretty cool game.
Since I don't have anything unique to say, I'll just quote a post that states my exact sentiments.

jorditimon: In the game page are write Darwinia as Single Player/ Multiplayer, but the Darwinia is a single player game (as said in Wikipedia, ), with Multiwinia being it multiplayer brother, [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiwinia]here...

In the Wikipedia is said that exist a Darwinia + for XBox with both Darwinia and Multiwinia in the same pack...

So what version Gog.com was released?
My understanding was Darwinia was SP only as Multiwinia MP only....

Qbix: Was that rocket added to the game at a later stage ?
(in the GOG.com movie)

Wishbone: Hmm, I don't remember seeing it before, and I completed the game after getting it in the Humble Introversion Bundle.
I do remember seeing it in both before and after the UI update (1.2 was it?)

Darwinia is indeed SP only (according to Steam store page), but Multiwinia is both.
I don't really get what this game is about, though I'm looking forward to that pipe game, whenever it comes.
Got it from the humble bundle so for now just wishlisted.
Another game that goes straight to my wishlist :D Got to wait until christmas sale x.x

The rocket is from the demo, which is rather oddly a completely separate level from the base game. And not a terribly interesting one.

It was added into the base game quite some time ago, it can be accessed from the main menu and sort of works as the tutorial.
Well, it was avaible in humble bundle, so I don't give a damn, but for those who doesn't have it yet: it's a very good and original rts game, with some similarities to Black & White or Majesty (or From Dust, I dunno..)

It's from a intro to the game that was added in the last patch

timppu: Time to launch Mobygames I guess. I have certainly heard about Darwinia and seen the stickman logos and screenshots years ago, yet I have no idea what kind of game it is, does it resemble any other game etc.
I would describe Darwinia as Syndicate with a resource gathering elements and expendable units (you can re-create any lost unit).
Always wanted to check it out but I'm sure is available cheaper, that said plenty of extras. I shall don my thinking cap and try to decide on this. Wing Commander looks tempting too...
I got this in the retail box with the key chain. Also got it as part of a Humble Bundle with the rest of their games. You definitely have to play Darwinia more than 'one hour' to enjoy it. Hacker was also great, but I put far more hours in Darwinia. Fantastic game, that now that I've been reminded of it, makes me want to play it again
I'm liking this new game + old game schedule idea. :) Maybe it could be new game + old game on Tuesday, then just old game on Thursday. (Presumably, new games don't take as long to configure anyway.)
