The anti-hero with a symbiotic blade returns with a vengeance.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/legacy_of_kain_soul_reaver_2]Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, fallen vampire’s personal vendetta turned into a video game, is available on GOG.com right now for $5.99.

Just two months ago GOG.com released Soul Reaver and you had a chance to meet Raziel, a vampire-turned-wraith reanimated in the Spectral Realm by The Elder God in order to kill Kain. Well, the fight is not over as Raziel needs to go back through time and continue his quest to destroy the almighty vampiric lord. Soul Reaver 2 picks up at the moment Soul Reaver left off--you’ve chased down Kain to kill him, he’s gone through some sort of time portal. And now it’s time to settle the score. However cliche the story might seem, Soul Reaver 2, even though it’s a combat-focused third-person action adventure, offers a brilliantly written and very intelligent gothic story. The characters, interactions, and tension between them are deep and provide very satisfying interludes between the bread and butter of the game, which is devouring Raziel’s enemies as he makes his way to a reckoning with his creator.

With a great story, beautiful graphics, and a lot of puzzle / platforming elements, Soul Reaver 2 is something more than your usual action-oriented romp. Drift away and kill some extra-dimensional demons in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 for just $5.99 on GOG.com.
Good release but not for me.
Blood Omen por favor. Or even Defiance. I want to play as Kain again.
Oh nice! Soul Reaver 1 was one of the best games of its genre, so I'll have to check this one out as well *wishlisted for now*
Not my cup of tea...
Next one please...
Nice job.
Very nice :) and for that price too... Oh gog you awesomepeoples :D
Very, very nice!

Wishlisted for now, I will buy it for my birthday, since it's not far from now :-)
This is a great game but not having the original is a crime GoG! I know it's a pain in the arse to get working or is it a rights issue? I know the original was done by Silicon Knights but S.E own the rights to Blood Omen 2 so surely they have the rights to the first as well...

Also LOL at the useful tutorial screenshot "Hold Block to Block" damn console ports. Saying that though, I never had trouble getting it to run.
Not a surprising release, but still a good one.
Wishlisted. Still working my way through the first game, but I absolutely adore the writing/voice acting, so more of that is enough to sell me.
Great release but still waiting for the original Blood Omen which happens to be my favourite entry in the series.

Who develops the game rarely has anything to do with who has the rights. Eidos had the rights to the series, and thus now Square does. If there's any delay it may be technical or because they don't see the Blood Omens selling that well (first is pretty dated, 2nd is not well regarded).
