The city needs YOU to enforce the law!

Urban Chaos, a dynamic adventure-brawler with an elaborate combat system and great replayability, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Damn those Wildcats! That gang has been the bane of Union City for years, but now the gangbangers are more powerful than ever. They will stop at nothing in their attempts to seize control of the city, even if it burns to the ground in the process. Word on the streets is that their leader has been dealing with things no sane man should even consider. Dark things, which may be corrupting the city from the inside out. But there's a saying we had in the UNPD Academy: a good blow to the head puts all demons to bed.

Urban Chaos delivers solid fighting sequences in a varied, dynamic environment of a rioting city and wraps them up in an original storyline. You take control over two characters: a female law enforcement officer D'arci Stern or an ex-soldier vigilante Roper McIntyre, each of them with a unique fighting style. The 24 non-linear stages can be completed in various ways ranging from car chases, through shootouts, to hand-to-hand brawls. A day-night cycle, changing weather conditions, and random encounters will make every playthrough a unique experience!

Grab a baseball bat and enforce some law over the raging Urban Chaos, for only $5.99!

In other news: we'd like to announce that as of today, the time of our regular releases has been moved to 10:00AM GMT. That means you get to enjoy them one hour earlier in the day!
Irony thy name is GOG. I downloaded a copy of this yesterday after being unable to find a legal one. I won't play it for a while anyway, I was just collecting it so I guess I'll pick it up here when I have the money.

This is much better than the console versions (especially the playstation version with it's 2ft view distance lol)
This game was produced by Eidos right? It's good Square Enix is on board. There are many great titles produced by the now defunct Eidos Interactive.
Great release.
Hells yeah!

Wishlisted for now, I will buy this little precious as soon as I get around some money. Let's hope it will be rather sooner than later ;)
I don't know about the game... but the intro is eeeeexcellent.
My major lasting memory of this game is that my character seemed to have a leaf blower stuffed down her trousers, blasting air out through vents in her shoes.

I feel that's the only possible explanation for the incredible turbulence created whenever she moves.

Extremely odd.

It turned out that it wasn't quite my cup of tea, but it got some rave reviews, so obviously other people loved it.

The intro video was very impressive for the time, too.
I had this but never really gave it a proper chance, really, ages ago
Your write-up makes me temped....
...to dig the retail copy out of my cuipboard!
(sorry - v.poor!)
not my type of game
Never played this one. How is the gameplay and difficulty?
Oh man, this game.

It did a lot of things right - freeroaming, sidemissions, exploration... All irrelevant because of two things: horrible controls and unfair difficulty (coupled with a profound lack of checkpoints or mid-level saves).

I tried, I really did.
Yay! Wishlisted.
I've getting a deja vú when I hear the name, I think I've stumbled upon the name before but I never played it. Wishlisted for now.
This game was on my wishlist written in a small notebook when I was a teenager. Didn't manage to obtain it back then, and now it is here, thanks GOG!
Ya cool.
Can we has Carmageddon now?
The soundtrack of this game is so awesome.
