Looks pretty cool. Seems that it will be a Steam exclusive, but anyone interested in the remake or original game should pick up the original for $6 right here on GOG.com.
I have to admit my biggest surprise in this news is that Apogee is still alive, I thought they gone under around the same time 3D Realms did.
Neato! A sure buy, classic style FPS gaming in a modern shell.

I love these rare remake projects, I hope we see many more.
Looks real fun. :)

It's great to see classics being brought back.
Releasing for the PC via Steam
f.ck

edit : Watched the trailer . It will be a crap .

I still have yet to play the original, but this remake looks like a Day 1 buy

No, it's not. Undead, yeah. But Interplay - at least the Interplay most people in these forums would be talking about - died many years ago.
Hmm, so it's being developed by Interceptor Entertainment. And aren't the Apogee games on GOG actually by the company that bought the rights to the Apogee name, and not by the original team?

Scott Miller sold the Apogee name to some very close friends of his.

Scott Miller also mentioned this years ago on a Matt Chat but I thought he was bullshittin'. I'm pretty fuckin' wow'd right now.

It was only a couple months ago I decided to play RoTT again and beat it. This looks like a fun title and I hope they consider GOG for release.
This new version will have Steam Integration so chances of it on GOG are low at the moment.

Wonder if we will see the original go on sale here a few times between now and release.
Never finished the original one because of the "giant snake" boss.
I honestly don't think I've ever been this excited after seeing a trailer before. ROTT is bar none my favorite pre-Doom FPS, and I never EVER thought there would be a remake. And it looks like this one's going to be pretty darn true to the original. I think this one will be a day 1 buy. Possibly even an hour 1 buy :3.

Also.... EPIC BULLET TIME FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!

EDIT: watched trailer again, and the iron sights are a little concerning. We'll see.

Right? When there were shots of gloomy castles and prisons, I was preparing myself for the inevitable facepalm. And then I've seen soldier begging for mercy, and traps, and jumpplates, and rocketjump, and generaly big ammount of win.
Haha, excellent. I like it how they kept in pretty much everything from the original. Looking forward to this.
