Mr. Slenderman is going viral in this screwed up 'game', here's a clip of someone playing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyAwW3r5jFA

It's up for free too, what do you guys think of it?
creeeeeeepy :)
I LOVE horrorgames, in theory...
I still have Penumbra, Amnesia, Project Zero/Fatal Frame and Condemned 2(Actually I want to play the first one, well, first) on my backlog...
I am too afraid to play them, FEAR already took me a great amount of courage xD
Slender and Amnesia a Machine for Pigs. Brb, getting my diapers!

So it is legal to download it then? (from the Mediafire link)
I am well aware of the Slender game and the Slenderman mythos. Love it.
I don't know, it doesn't look particularly scary in that video.

IGN confirmed this, I think. But the makers haven't charged as far as I know. They've got a profile on youtube, that's it.
I heard about this on Unfiction. Seems like a good game, has anyoen here tried it out yet?
The next horror game for theRadBrad to play, lol!

I played for about 30-40 minutes. I give the team at Parsec Productions credit for the hard work they put into this. I is definitely in the same vein as Penumbra or Amnesia though not as well polished. Gamplay consists of collecting "clues" which are scraps of paper found on walls or trees while trying not to run into Slend.

It's free and it's legit so you have nothing to lose by trying it out for yourself. Just don't make the same mistake I did and run over to the tall guy behind the tree to ask if he has seen any clues laying around.

aww man, and I thought that you can always trust random strangers in the woods :P

Nice to know the download is safe, I'll give it a whirl sometime :)
This game is creepy as hell.
It's good scares for about 30 minutes of play, but that's about all I needed.
I just heard about this game today. It does have an official site, and an unofficial fan page (which appears to be more informative than the developer's site). Seems legit to me. It actually made me curious.

Official site: www.parsecproductions.com
Fansite: slendergame.com

People looking for a free short horror-themed game may want to check it out. I can't say more though because I haven't played it yet.
