Psyringe: I just heard about this game today. It does have an official site, and an unofficial fan page (which appears to be more informative than the developer's site). Seems legit to me. It actually made me curious.

Slenderman's Shadow
It's a spinoff series of Slender created by Marc Steene and Wray Burgess:
It shares the same gameplay elements as the original - you must complete the objective while avoiding the enemy. All our maps are provided for free and are funded by donations.
They create a new map for every $150 donated.

There're currently seven maps available with more to come.

The first time I stumbled upon the Slenderman meme, I didn't sleep properly for three days (literally, as I tend to be nocturnal). The game looks fascinating, but unfortunately, my fragile mind is not built for horror o_0. This is a shame, as masochistically enough, I seem to be attracted to horror games (I've tried playing through Silent Hill 2 countless times, but I can never seem to finish it due to the "hide behind the couch, gibbering in fear whilst rocking back and forth" syndrome it evokes in me. Amnesia is likewise sitting on my desktop, taunting me.

I probably own the largest collection of untouched horror games/movies.

I love being scared, so I was interested in playing this when I first heard about it. I was so good and refused to watch any of the youtube videos of people getting scared by it and played and was like.... uhh.... The movie the Dark Crystal is creepier than this game is.

Wow, that's exactly how I feel towards horror games/movies. Terrified, yet weirdly fascinated at the same time.

Though I don't really get what's scary about the Slenderman meme.
