no blackout of GOG today ?? Just words ?

http://www.gog.com/en/news/gog_com_joins_opposition_to_sopa_and_pipa

Others have done it

http://www.humblebundle.com/

Why is it that lately humblebundle seems much much better than GOG in every aspect ??

Maybe because blacking out a drm free content distributor in order to protest SOPA is a bit self defeating?
Please don't do it.
Stopping Wikpedia's pages from loading fully so you can read them is inconvenient enough.
Besides - I highly doubt that anyone besides the GOG customers would notice. It would be precisely like DRM - annoying the wrong people.
GOG's layout has a lot of blacks since the beginning, as far as I know...

Yep - we're all going to have to stop pretending we know what we're talking about for the next 24 hours. Notice how all the serious discussions sank to the lower half of the page as soon as the blackout started...... :p
GOG could turn the old errors back on.

GOG did that before it was cool.

Also, I'd like to know how many students are freaking out right now because of the Wikipedia blackout.

You can still view Wikipedia normally by disabling JavaScript. So hopefully not too many :)

"GOG's opposition to SOPA and PIPA simply cannot remain in its current form." :p

Ah, I was wondering why there is no blackout for me.

But even when I enable Javascript, Wikipedia still is perfectly normal. Odd.

Which language version are you looking at? It's only English part that is blacking out I think.

The English one. Tried the main page (www.wikipedia.org), too. No blackout whatsoever.
