For the next 24 hours or so I will respect the blackouts and not seek to circumvent the ones in place. Additionally, I have darkened the pictures I uploaded on Flickr that could be darkened (some couldn't, for some reason), and I suggest other people do so as well.

As for GOG not joining in, well, what would be the point? GOG is not an information provider; blacking out GOG would be pointless even as a symbolic gesture.

shadi.lahham: no blackout of GOG today ?? Just words ?

Others have done it

Why is it that lately humblebundle seems much much better than GOG in every aspect ??
People visit HiB site only when they sell bundles. HiB is a place where you can get Steam codes for some indie games.

GOG is an international store, it has users from many different countries. It's not a news site or something. It provides services like game support or download. A blackout would turnout just like a PR stunt they did in 2010 (as far as I remember). People would not be happy.
Wikipedia blackout is amazing. I wish more websites would do the same. To show people how internet may look like after SOPA.

SimonG: They should get a few porn pages to join, that would rise the masses ;-).
Before reddit went down, a poster had a screenshot from one porn streaming site with a blackout SOPA screen. It did say you can click past that screen to get to the goods so I don't know how well that will work with the fappers. :)
