Crsldmc: One question, will this game have a subscription business model or one payment and then ingame store for microtransactions?

One-time payment like Guild wars 2.

The game has both a single player portion (referred to as squadron 42, similar to Wing commander where you are in the military and have a campaign to follow) and then it has a persistant world that you play in after that (or you can even skip the single player campaign and go straight to online/free world if you wish0.

They are also going to support private servers as well as offline play.

Dzsono: It's completely single-player offline if that's how you want to play. As such there will be no subscriptions.
