I think some people will still watch "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Hero", "The House of Flying Daggers"......"Star Wars" and just see people punching people in awesome acrobatics, funny warriors jumping on top of trees, colours changing randomically and spaceships doing spew spew on other ships :P...............but you´ll be missing so, so much.

tinyE: Any thoughts on how Lego Star Wars "the complete saga" stacks up to the movies. Just asking.
Haven't played any, but from what I've seen, I really like the goofy humor they inject into their titles.

ET3D: Still, he was better than what's-his-name who played Han Solo.

Regarding Star Trek, I think the general rule is to start watching with Season 4. (Except of course for the original series.)

tinyE: Did he just dis Harrison Ford!?

I'm gonna cry.

I'm crying.

I still love you Han! I still love you Indy!
I'm with you, tiny. Well, ok, I"m not crying about it. :-) Ford did swagger much better than Hamill did... whatever he was doing. If he had big lips he probably would have pouted.

Snickersnack: I thought shooting up marines was one of the highlights of Half Life.
Yes, but also the good guys are Americans (and they even save the world :P) so it's not about killing Americans but fighting the "evil government" .

Snickersnack: What's the shooter called?
I'm not sure. I read about it in an article in the Polish magazine CD-Action a few months ago, don't remember the title though. The article said that it's being developed (or was) by a Chinese subsidiary of Epic Games but I'm having trouble to find anything about it via Google. o_O Will have to look through all the recent issues.

Nergal01: His name is Neelix
Just... Don't go around giving it a name, all right? At any rate, thank you for the response.

You mean that PHD in theoretical physics? Oh please... He's obviously an H1b visa. That guy never talks and just gestures menacingly with a crowbar. Charges of big government are a red herring. That whole Black Mesa facility is infested with illegal aliens after our jobs.

Oh, I do have a name for it. I call it "s***head". :D

No problem, dude.

pingu53: Might get some flak for this but i think that Kotor 1 and 2 are better than any of the Star Wars movies, i just think they're alot more mature, have better characters, they have better stories, and they go deeper into the lore.

I know its not really good to compare em seeing as its movies vs gamea and the games are alot longer but i just feel Bioware and Obsidian really nailed the Star Wars universe better than Lucas Arts themselves
There would be no KOTOR 1 & 2 without the movies, so at the end of the day the movies are awesome!! Peace out!!

Seriously though, The games are amazing, but they did have the framework from the films and the comics and even the books to work from. They just gave it their own spin, which I found quite enjoyable.

I had a blast playing the Lego Star Wars games as long as I kept the gaming sessions relatively short since the levels tend to be quite repetitive.

They aren't groundbreaking by any means and you should not take them seriously, but stud collecting can be fun for a while.
I don't know about the first game, its story is pretty basic and comparable to the movies.

But KotOR 2... Oh, it's an entirely new take on the franchise. The best Star Wars game in my opinion. There's so many elements in it you'd not expect from a classic Star Wars game.
