CymTyr: Why do you need 20 different mods? Just download the unofficial patches (which make up 15 or so of the mods in question) and that leaves you free to only have 3-6 mods to install versus the 20. Unless I'm mistaken about what's contained in the unofficial patches ;)

Arteveld: Not 20 mods, 20 zips, not every mod consists of 1 zip, some consist of the mod and 2 updates which for some reason weren't merged with the release. I'm talking about FOOK, WMK, MMM, Wanderer's Edition, Texture Packs, Fallout Reanimated, Fellout, Project Beauty and some patches. I guess i was hoping for a neat mod manager where i would browse the mods, click "download those and their updates, download dependancies, make my game mod ready, install them and sort out the incompabilities" and what i see is the exact same state that i we had 4 years ago: "here's some files, go figure it out".
Ah ok.

blotunga: I wonder if it's worth to spend 10 euros in Fallout 3 and New Vegas... I still have a huuuuge backlog of games
it's worth it to get the GOTY editions of both on sale even if you have a huge backlog. Just add them to the back because you'll spend a while in each.
It's so boring the community keeps picking boring shooters ...

Was hoping for Fez... ah well, less money spent.
<Grumble...> Just seen they snuck Tachyon: The Fringe onto Steam at some point, its in with a bunch of other Novalogic titles for £5.49 ($7.49)... My CD as I recall was getting pretty ragged last I saw it... Curse Valve, CURSE THEM!!!

Yes it is.
Hmm the Steam store doesn't look very summer-y anymore.

Edit: Ah now it's back.. with crappy deals.

Hawk52: Just messing around trying to get cards (I'm desperate for moneyz), I fricking beat the Binding of Issac for the first time, after not having played it in ten months. I even perfected Mom. Granted, I somehow got Sacred Heart, but darnit this may be my greatest gaming moment in years.

Edit: and reading that people have ten times the game time I have (five hours) before they beat her makes me feel even better! HUZZAH~!

Edit 2: And then I beat her again. WTF man.
I've went back and played a bit trying to get trading cards to drop (they aren't working for some reason), and had a really good run and finished the womb for the first time. (though I had the bible lol)

I probably only have about 6-7 hours though (time isn't counting properly).
Considering Dust and from yesterday Shogun 2 (hesitant because I hear its a monster download)
Apart from that
meh
Castle Crashers looks nice, but I saw people in the forums complaining about constant crashes...does anyone here recommend it?

Castle Crashers i can really only recommend if you've got some friends to play with. Online very well could be near dead except some diehard players. Though at 4 bucks i guess its not much of a big deal if you've got a lot of disposable income to throw around, otherwise id wait. Still got another week of deals

mushy101: This card selling thing is fucking crazy. Made almost £5 in selling the cards I have stocked up upon just by FINISHING the games I brought in the past.

A fiver out of nothing, nothing I tell you. ;)

gutoraffaelli: Yeah, it's great, isn't it?

I decided to check the trading cards thing when it was officially released and earned around 25 dollars on a single day (thanks to a Brütal Legend foil card)!!! And a very kind soul gave me FTL in exchange for six of those summer cards.
Of course dude, sure you sell some cards for pennies, but sell enough and the funds can build up. Since I last posted my funds has smashed the £5 barrier and is creeping towards 7.

I have enough now to outright buy the game that is on the top of my wishlist, IF it goes on a steeper discount.

See, this type of incentives to buy from steam and get involved in it's ecosystem that competitors can't copy. I can readily forgive the DRM issue thanks to the card system.

A little cross link to my post in classifieds.
If anyone is wanting MX vs ATV Reflex, i would be really grateful if we could come up with a trade (+ others to make up the value) for Kerbal Space Program.
