lukslo: The Summer Sale should be online till 22. july
Ok, I'll try to actively check them still these last few days. Maybe I'll get something after all. It doesn't help that most of the titles that people recommend are quite often unfamiliar titles to me, I don't necessarily know even the genre. :)

Yeah I know the feeling, you see so much new games and know so little about them (at least for me is like this, as I don't keep up with the new releases and news about games anymore) so I tend to get the games I know will play them in the near future (Steam wishlist helps a bit with that, as you put the games you are interested in getting and can easily check if they go for a discount and for how much).

Steam forums indicate that there are unpatched issues, like stable crashing.

This sale I've bought ehh... System Shock 2? Yeah. That's it so far.

Bismarck: I'm sad that Expeditions: Conquistador hasn't been on a flash or daily (Unless I missed it). It was a possibility on the community choice, but it didnt get chosen. Bastards.
It's gonna get recycled if it lost the Community Choice, just gotta keep your eyes open. I know that's what I'm doing, that game is the last one I want from this sale.

By now I'm severely miffed at missing out on the Tomb Raider promo. Still, faintly hoping for a repeat :(

The way this sale is going, it probably will be.

I was sad it wasn't on the GoG sale, but I completely understand why it wasn't.

Was tempted by Fable III and Rayman: Origins, but just saw Fable III has Securom :| I thought Rayman had some third party DRM too but the steam page now specifically states it doesn't, hmm.
Finally there's another interesting game in the dailies that hasn't been on sale before, Trials Evolution. It's just 50% off but I'll take it.

For some reason Ubisoft games don't usually get the big discounts. I was waiting for a good discount on Call of Juarez Bound in Blood but it's only 33% despite being fairly old now, thinking back it might have been 50% off when Gunslinger was on a daily and I just assumed it wasn't because of how low it was, so I might have missed that boat.

How about Monaco though? Does it hold up in singleplayer?

I just checked my Steam Rayman Origins copy, it's still DRM free. Backup you install folder in case Ubi changes their mind. Publishers will never waste precious time on removing DRM from an old title, but will sometimes retrofit DRM on something too cheap to steal anyway. Sometimes you do because it's good business sense, other times it's just for the sheer love of hating the customer.
