AFnord: and the confirmation email can be a bit slow, so for people who often switch hardware, GG is more convenient.
This seems unlikely? For me it's always been instant. But yes, if you prefer independence you're better off at GG.

Then you haven't tried it during major sales.

That's possible :)
Speaking for myself I picked up Majesty 2 Complete for 5 USD yesterday off GameFly as GamersGate and Steam were 4 times more expensive, personally I prefer GG as GameTutor is available immediately on all titles you have purchased and the community quick to respond to questions, add the fact I don't really play any games online.

Sadly my new video card was delayed so until after the weekend I won't be able to play it or a number of other games I've bought, but Majesty 2 is reportedly much more difficult than Majesty, especially with the expansion campaigns.
Unfortunately, i have neither:( but i can still advise you to buy the Gamersgate one, because it's DRM free. Also, from what i've heard, the Steam HD version has some implementation bugs, and tends to freeze once in a while.
lol alright then! GamersGate it is!

Thanks for the info guys
What is gamersgate VOID? you play games online?

keeveek: Stop it right there!

Majesty Gold HD is avaible for FREE on gamersgate VOID (you have to watch a commercial or two before playing, but it's a full game)

ok, I don't know if it's HD edition, because it's misleading. Game cover implies it's HD edition, but game name, it's just majesty gold classic.

Nah. You download a full version of game that is.. hmm.. adware.

When you start the game, you will have to watch several commercials (not too many) and then you may play just like regular game there.

I don't really know if it's HD version or regular version though, game page on VOID is misleading.

But they also have Risen for free, so... :P

Just been to their site, and i don't think it's the HD version. They would have said if it is.

Yeah, but original Gold version was pulled back from being sold AND it has Gold HD cover on game card...

But nothing's hold anybody back to check it out :P

I claimed Traffic Giant Gold there, so I can't check it by myself

Well, in worst case scenario he can check it out, to see if he likes the game and decide to buy or not the HD version.
