I did the Orcs Must Die challenge last night and won... Nothing. Not even coal. Broken...

Supreme Commander game, and 33% off coupon for Valve's games.

I got 50% off of Valve titles and 50% off of Scratches the game.

I got 2 pcs 25% coupons which worth nothing since all the games cheaper now.

Portal 2 and Flatout: Ultimate Carnage and all I did was the first challenge...

Actually, I like that.
Why do you consider a 'contest' concerning playing games on a completely gaming related area a bad idea? If anything, it adds a little incentive to (re)visit some of the games you own.
I could use that for GOG as well *chuckles*

From the first challenge where you log in and check your inventory, I received AI - Fleet War and a 50% Valve coupon.

From my second challenge I got nothing so far, not even coal.

That's nice, all I got is 50% off for a Valve title and a little coal. :(

A 33% off coupon for Valve games that I will never use and a 50% off coupon for Trials 2 which I will never use. Too bad you can't convert coupons into coal the same way you can craft coal into coupons.

Hey now, I think its awesome that Steam is actually rewarding you with something that matters for playing games.
