Wow, you're right. They seem a bit overpriced, but on the other hand, $1 per song on, say, Amazon would probably cost 12 - 18 or so dollars.

On the THQ bundle they had the saint's row 3 soundtrack, but it didn't have any of the radio songs, which is a real shame. It feels a bit incomplete, so I didn't bother beating the average. Off topic but thought I should add it.
