I got bored of terraria and went back to my biggest building project to date :-P.

Terraria has a "guide" though and he does cock all, doesnt even give a text box saying to do anything...

I don't know how you could figure out Minecraft and not figure out Terraria...

I've seriously lost a part of my soul to this game. I've logged nearly thirty hours into it. I've been trying to figure out the game by myself (with occasional multiplay with friends), so I'm just now figuring out magic and getting magic items.

There's so much to this game, that I STILL haven't seen it all.

There is no way at all you figured out minecraft without looking something up online. The game just drops you on the island and that's it. Who in their right mind is going to think "Gee I'm on an island I guess I better start punching some trees!" So with that in mind.

If you understand minecraft Terraria is pretty much the same. Get some wood and build a safe house right away then start mining to gather resources to make better tools.

Slimes and Wood are needed for torches and backgrounds keep monsters from spawning in a building. Everything else can be figured out from trial and error. Oh and dying only causes you to lose ~1/2 your money that's on you. (Yes you can store money in chests that you build)

got terraria on friday and managed to sunk 22 hours in just five days that haven't happened in non-holiday period in a loooong time.

and the only reason i stopped is because game works a bit too slowly on a computer i am currently using (while those 22 hours i did on a sis computer)

game is awesome. and it is so much fun playing multi.


really recommend it.

there is a awesome update coming up this Friday, they are still adding stuff to the game yet, so taking a break, got most of the stuff, pwned the bosses, helped out a few friends...yep 21 hours here too
