Dear GOG Users!
First of all, on behalf of the whole GOG team I'd like to thank you very much for your support and all positive comments we have received in so many posts. This really makes us believe that we do the right thing and gives us even more power and motivation to continue our way of bringing classic games with 100% DRM-free policy.
Second thing is, that if you are happy about what we offer here, please help to spread the word about GOG in other places. We do our best to be visible in as many places as we can, but our efforts have their limits, as there are not as many people working on GOG communication across the web as we'd like (actually two guys, Vandal and me).
Please do not treat it as a request, or something that we expect you to do. No... We just say, help us if you really feel (from deep inside) comfortable with it, and if you think that GOG is worth your help.
Once again, thank you everyone!
And have fun!
GOG.com team via Cook :)
EDIT: You can check our "Spread the word" section to get some banners and maybe even buy yourself a GOG t-shirt!

Thank you, Gog Team!
So many titles and so many more to come, we hope. Keep firm on that no-DRM stance, and show the publishers it DOES work!
I'm already sharing everything I can on Facebook, and in other forums/game sites, and will continue to do so, for this service is excellent.
Peace, and long life.
I've already got your banner in my signature on another site. I've got your URL and group linked on Steam and I generally point anyone whose interested in a game for sale here in your direction.
You are most welcome - and thank you so much for working hard on our behalf to ensure these classics are not lost to history!
Whenever DRM'd games or old gaming classics come up in the sites I frequent I always make sure to plug GoG - and will always continue to do so.
Has anyone submitted to digg/slashdot yet?
I do my best to add new deals to my twitter account so keep them good deals coming :)

Keep up the good work. I already spread the word quite a bit. It would be nice though if there was a way to link to my GOG collection in a friendly linked banner image in my signature on other forums. Lot's of people do this with their X-box gamer cards and Backloggery collections. It's a pretty easy way to get a lot of free advertising because it allows people to show off their collection while also bringing you more traffic.

+1 This is a good idea. A small banner version of the shelf.

See, this is why I like these guys: they thank us when by all rights we should be thanking them. They do all the hard work that gets us these great old games at a reasonable price, doing a little to help spread the "word of GOG" is the least we can do in return.
Thank you GOG Team for preserving these great classics and for keeping us entertained along the way. I told my friends about you right from when the site first opened, and they were very curious this week about the announcement! I will continue to spread the word and I hope you prosper for years to come in DRM-free bliss! :)
+1 also to jungltoad's banner idea.
In complete honesty, I feel GOG is the best thing to happen to PC gaming in a long time, since the creation of the Steam digital distribution service. I know all too well the backlash towards that platform, towards their ideals and execution of the service. However, it is ignorant to discredit them for their innovation in the regards of a new way to purchase games. To me, GOG, as a service, is top-notch. The available games, the means by which to purchase, the aestheticism, and other aspects. The people behind GOG are a class act; they aren't the staunch businessmen who are looking for a profit (they are, but you know what I mean.). Instead, they are doing this out of passion for the platform. They put their heart and soul into each game, as if it were their life's project. This special compassion is nowhere to be found in any other of the services by which to buy games. At those places, it feels like I'm buying a product - at GOG, I feel like I'm investing into an experience. GOG puts personality back into buying games again. It is refreshing and exciting to see the expansion of my favorite service, and I wish the staff the best of luck in their future endeavors. To GOG!

Vagabond: To GOG!

hear hear!
you guys already own the 'website' spot in any profile i make, and i pimp this place on RPS quite often.
I've been spreading the word about GOG ever since I joined for one reason. I want GOG to succeed so they'll make more games available that I'd love to play.
It's selfish but since everyone profits I'm not feeling bad. :)
I have an old post here that give the code to add in your signature to have the GOG userbars. I have them hosted on one of my websites.
Here are the code to enter in your signature to add the gog user bar.

If you want to see what they look like, look at this post on witcher forum.
I was actually considering printing out some leaflets with the logo and spreading them around college. I just need to find a copy shop with a colour printer somewhere... >_>

Great idea.
I link to gog a lot in my reg forum, for great deals or just to get people to try gog out.
Such a great service (no downloader needed, no login to play the games, no activation limits, and best of all NO drm).
Regular forum is:
http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/forum.php
OC'ing, hardware, apps, and Games section, if anyone is interested in visiting (no, its not my personal site, just one that has classy, helpful people in it).
