I played it at Gamescom last year, but the fact that it was Steam-only pretty much dissolved any interest I might have had.

Still, may still yet make its way to DRM-free platforms.
I could have sworn this was initially listed as a Steamplay title and maybe it was but was a mistake or something. I had wishlisted it to remind me to check it out later after it released. When I checked another time after that, it was only for Windows. :-(

Oh, well.
Looks like an uninspired Diablo clone

I had thought so too and everything I've been able to find says Windows, Mac and XBLA. So maybe they screwed up and it IS a Steamplay title? Or maybe the Mac version got pushed back?

Glad it wasn't just me then. The trailer caught my eye and it looks pretty fun. I hope it turns out well and there is a Mac version to come.

Oh, there's no doubt it was an interesting enough Diablo clone, and it certainly has my vote on the GOG wishlist.
I hope the game is as campy as its title.
Looks good. But only Steam (for now). I guess I'll just wait for DRM-Free version.

Surprisingly it is only $14.99. I thought it would be at least $19.95 for new game with that type of genre.

Well, Closed Beta was about 6 - 7 hours SP game. I have been informed that CB was just the first chapter of the game, it also has a MP component for people that like that aspect as well.

I enjoyed what I played in CB, it was well voiced too, the skill trees were interesting as well, For €11 I was pleasently surprised, well worth a punt for those that are unsure.

The game is part of a trilogy, IIRC there will be sequels at 6 month intervals, meanwhile there will be free DLC's for the existing first part of the series, while waiting for the sequels (which will be charged for).

Interesting. So total for the trilogy would be around $45 I assume ?

But that is good development and marketing phase I think. Instead of charging big to people at the beginning, they allows people to taste the parts one by one at more affordable price one at a time..

This makes my "a whole load of shit" sensor go off.
Interesting, I like Diablo-like ARPG's so I will probably pick this up at some point. Cheers.
Mildly intriguing but, ultimately, it just makes me wish for a game based on Solomon Kane. Not the Solomon Kane from the movie, either. :-(
