Never heard of it, but it looks pretty good.
I'm going to assume the Mac version just got pushed back. This link even says that it's coming out on Mac.
All speculation is meaningless until we get some reliable info on mechanics. Diablo-like ARPGs need deep and balanced mechanics in order to be successful, first and foremost.
If they're not Blizzard titles, that is. Those sell regardless of quality, apparently. ;)

The game isnt Diablo, just because its isometric doesnt mean its a Diablo clone in all fairness.

The game is a one shot deal, no NG+, you play it as maybe Ranged and then as Melee, then you are done really, no loot farming etc. When a mob is dead, it stays dead.

Its a decent enough game for 15 bucks, its not going to set the world on fire, lasts about 15 hours or so, story is pretty good, VA is OK too.
Thinking I will buy this from GG tonight as it's only $8 for me (combination of Blue Coins and 20% discount code).
Considering it's 20gb for the first of the three parts I just hope that all resources are included.

Sixty gb for the whole thing would be a bit too much.
So how is it, if anyone knows?

Its pretty good, initially you may find combat overwhelming, but the combo system uses a thing called a Rage bar, so when you have rage points, you press Spacebar and it activates your Rage combo set up.

Basically you buy a skill and then you can buy skill enhancers, these enhancers may do something like increase an explosion size or slow down enemies or turn a single spell into an AoE spell.

So, it may seem overwhelming when you get swarmed by enemies, but just hit Spacebar and it will activate more powerfull attacks to deal with the threat.

The story is good and voicing is good, game looks pretty good as well.

For 15 bucks its good value.

The size is annoying, I definately wouldnt devote 60 gigs of HD space for the trilogy, but 20 gigs is do-able.

It also has a MP and Co-Op aspects if that floats your boat.
Fairly impressed with this game. The design is really good, I'm glad they dropped the early anime look, voice acting is fun, it's fairly dark with some really good humor and Easter eggs.

The skill tree and combat system looks overwhelming, but by that only shows great promise in customization and making all kinds of builds.

It really doesn't look like a 15$ indie game. My only complain would be that it doesn't have a random map generator which would greatly improve re playability.
Played a little earlier today, not much though. It seems fun so far and I'm liking the ghost companion.
HEADS UP REGARDS MP

Hi there!
There are issues with multiplayer games right now. We are working round the clock tho fix those as fast as we can. We don't have an ETA yet but it is our first priority right now, and we've been working on a larger update since release. My advice for you is to play single player on a higher difficulty until the update comes out!
Sorry for the inconvenience!

jamyskis: I played it at Gamescom last year, but the fact that it was Steam-only pretty much dissolved any interest I might have had.

Still, may still yet make its way to DRM-free platforms.
Yep, it looks amazing. Would have been an insta-buy for me but now it's a no-buy as it's only on Steam.
I played the beta for a bit and will probably play it all the way through once I have some time. The beta was a blast and the game was really polished for a $15 indie game. I found it a lot more enjoyable than other games in the genre that have come out recently.

My only complaint....

...is this.

I feel that with the ARPGs that take hints from Diablo, you get a combination of things that made the older Diablo games fun, but not everything. For example, in this case you get cool abilities, good story components, fun gameplay, but no procedural generation. They are all missing one piece that could make them awesome.

Grim Dawn is the same way. For Torchlight, the story felt empty, but it had everything else. To me, this is why I've yet to find an ARPG that scratched that Diablo 2 itch.

Either way, it's a fun game, but the lack of random maps will mean it gets played a few times (maybe) and then put aside. For $15, you can't go wrong though.

I'm having fun with it. The gameplay flows quite well. Enjoying it more than I enjoyed Path of Exile so far. Granted, I'm only a couple of hours in.

If you're so inclined, you can watch me play it over at twitch.tv:

I saw some footage of it a couple of days ago, and was very interested. If it hits GOG or any other DRM-free outlet in the future I will be sure jump on it.
