iippo: oh, never noticed that one.

...maybe they just forgot it as it doesnt seem to affect anything? :)
No, that message is where the payment widget is supposed to be so you can't buy it.

Edit: I accidentally cut off the part where it says "sale will resume in a few minutes"

To reassure you, I just scrolled down the page and it says the same thing to me.

I would've preferred it if you had said you could and would buy it for me :P
But I'm assuming they'll extend the deadline or something once they finally notice.
Is it just me, or did they extend the bundle for another 7 days?

Correct, also the maintenance is done.
And they have added Dynamite Jack in the 1$ tier.
Thankfully they finally cleaned up that horribly, ugly website - still not getting a ten in my book but oh it's so much better!
I wonder if we will see a Happy Hour on the Interstellar bundle? Meh, I'm on the fence...

Niggles: Sounds like a bit of backlash there. They also probably chose the wrong bundle to go into (either HB or Groupees would have been better if charity was there main aim
The devs of Interstellar Marines posted a "Post Mortem of a PR Disaster" on Gamasutra. Worth reading and watching if you're interested in a peek behind the curtain. It illustrates problems that (I guess) many indie devs are facing when going into a bundle for the first time, caused by inexperience and lack of information.

That was a very fascinating read! It's interesting to me how many devs are lacking in solid business management - i.e. especially contracts and accounting. Any amount of research would have netted them information on how IG does their Happy Hours (usually 6 or more hours long and multiple times) and that they frequently extend bundles beyond the stated expiry date. Those things could easily have been included in the contract.

But what is more astounding, is the lack of inclusion of all staff when deciding to make this kind of move. Your people on the ground are the best source of information - and hey, you're already paying for that intel.

Anyway, thanks for the link!

For what its worth, IG is probably the worst bundler for a dev to have anything to do with. Everyone saw how *incompetent* these people were from the first day they launched bundles (i honestly think part of the reason is fact the owners seem to not have english as their first language) . Their happy hour DO regularly become hours and they also DO frequently extend their bundles for whatever reason - anyone who keeps tabs on their bundles would know this. I know its up to the devs to do their research, but tbh IG needs to come to the party and include all possible details in a contract as well (which doesnt seem to be the case in this one). How does a fixed period in contract extend out to 20 days without the devs approval?????
