DId you happen to catch the link in <span class="bold">Maighstir's post</span>? The word lacks sufficient documentation for being used as it's defined — rather than, say, as an example of a really long word — to establish sufficient credentials for inclusion. The video cites three historical examples, and that's it.

I did, but I do not find it authoritative or even convincing. Merriam-Webster is no authority on British English. If a similar dismissal were published in the OED, I would find that sufficient.

That sounds an awful lot like a No True Scotsman rejoinder. But maybe that's just me.
